Financial Times Supplement

Having looked briefly into the magazine supplement, I can see it as a prime candidate for me to “shoot” for as it is clearly aimed at the business man or woman who reads the financial times.

The financial times monthly global reach reveals that the FT reaches, on average, over 13 million readers every month during a 12 month period. And, as syndicated readership surveys show, those readers are senior business decision-makers, high net worth consumers and influential policymakers.

This shows that the people who read will be generally high earners that are in the top two tax brackets. This means that the levels of disposable income will be higher and they will be in the market for such items like the Presso coffee machine.

Plus in general, the cover of the magazines regularly advertise products of extreme value like this jaguar E-Type Lightweight that sells for 1 million from the company. So I think that a £150 coffee machine is not going to break the bank of many of the readers.
